HEC increases capital and expands production in Shaoguan

On September 9, HEC Ruyuan Base held the completion of the construction project of lithium iron phosphate with an annual output of 20,000 tons and the start of the expansion project with an annual output of 50,000 tons. The new energy materials sector of HEC focuses on the development of lithium iron phosphate and other cathode materials for lithium batteries, and has deployed magnetic materials for supporting new energy vehicles. The completed construction project of HEC Ruyuan Base with an annual output of 20,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate and the start of the expansion project of lithium iron phosphate cathode material with an annual output of 50,000 tons cover an area of about 200 mu, with a planned total investment of about 2 billion yuan. The lithium iron phosphate cathode material produced by the project is mainly used in pure electric vehicle batteries, plug-in hybrid vehicle batteries, start-stop starter vehicle batteries, energy storage batteries and other fields.
