Chen Shaorong, Secretary of Shaoguan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and his party inspected HEC Group

On August 19, 2022, Chen Shaorong, Secretary of Shaoguan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and his party inspected the HEC Group. Zhang Yushuai, Chairman of the Group, Zhang Hongwei, Rotating Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Tang Xinfa, Managing Director of the Group, accompanied them to visit the HEC Research Institute and held discussions and exchanges. Zhu Yilong, vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and chairman of the board of directors of Yindi Group, attended the meeting.

HEC Group invested and constructed in Shaoguan, Guangdong in 1998. With the long-term and firm support of leaders at all levels of the Shaoguan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the Shaoguan Base has now invested more than 15 billion yuan and has more than 6,500 employees. It is the headquarters of the listed company “HEC” (600673), and has three major industrial groups: electronic materials, pharmaceutical chemicals, and health preservation. The core competitive advantages of electronic aluminum foil and corrosion-formed foil technology are internationally leading, and the production and sales are among the best in the world. In 2021, the tax-included industrial and trade sales of HEC Shaoguan Base is 25.9 billion yuan. HEC has paid more than 4 billion yuan in tax in Shaoguan, and continued to make positive contributions to the local social and economic development and people’s happy life!

At the symposium, Secretary Chen Shaorong expressed his gratitude to the HEC Group for its support to Shaoguan’s economic development over the years. He pointed out that Shaoguan insists on improving its position and grasping the business environment, making overall plans for industrial projects, and focusing on systematic, holistic and advanced planning. At the moment when the downward pressure on the economy is increasing, the members of the four teams at the city and county levels carry out the “warm enterprise” action, in-depth understanding of the difficulties in the development of the enterprise, assist in solving the problems encountered in the production and operation of the enterprise, and fully support the development of the enterprise. With the spirit of “Sharpening a Sword in Ten Years”, HEC has achieved major breakthroughs in core fields such as electronic materials, biomedicine, and health preservation, and the results are gratifying. Shaoguan is currently actively cultivating a good industrial ecology, improving the chain, focusing on supporting facilities, and strengthening guarantees. The various sectors of the HEC group’s business are highly compatible with the development direction of Shaoguan’s industries. It is hoped that the HEC group will continue to support the development of Shaoguan and further increase its investment in Shaoguan. All departments at all levels in Shaoguan will continue to make every effort to improve the level of service enterprises, establish a firm service concept, be a good “waiter” for enterprise development, and cooperate with the enterprise to supplement the chain and strengthen the chain, so as to create a good development environment full of vitality and fair competition for enterprises.

Chairman Zhang Yushuai extended a warm welcome to Secretary Chen Shaorong and his party for their visit to HEC Group, and sincerely thanked the Shaoguan Municipal Government for its strong support. Then Chairman Zhang Yushuai said that HEC Group insists on serving the country with industry, insists on doing the cause supported by the state and the people’s needs, unswervingly takes the road of high-tech, R&D and innovation, focuses on the development of advantageous industries, makes intensive efforts in the fields of advanced manufacturing of new electronic materials, pharmaceutical R&D and innovation, and the development of traditional Chinese medicine industry, making the construction and development of the Shaoguan base even better. At the same time, Chairman Zhang Yushuai sincerely invited Secretary Chen Shaorong to attend the opening ceremony for the expansion of the new energy plant in HEC Shaoguan Base in September. In the future, HEC will go all out to actively promote the construction of cooperation projects between the two parties, speed up the layout of Shaoguan’s business territory, and work together to develop with government and enterprises, and give back to the people of Shaoguan with better performance.
