On February 8, the major projects in Hubei Province in the first quarter of 2022 will start construction at the Yichang branch venue—the major projects in Yichang City will start construction in February 2022 and the HEC low-carbon high-end battery aluminum foil project will be held at the construction site of the battery foil project. Vice Governor of Hubei Province and Secretary of Yichang Municipal Party Committee Wang Li announced the start of the project. The project of low-carbon high-end battery aluminum foil and related materials of HEC covers an area of about 1,200 acres. The first phase of 50,000 tons is under construction on site. It is planned to be put into operation in 2023. After reaching production, it can achieve sales revenue of more than 2 billion yuan and profits and taxes of more than 500 million yuan.
The project is located in Yidu City, Hubei Province, which is located in the center of the three major automobile manufacturing bases of Chongqing, Wuhan and Shanghai in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and has significant geographical advantages. In terms of product technology, HEC has established a technology and industry alliance with Japan's largest battery aluminum foil manufacturer, UACJ Corporation, and has formed a unique advantage in the production process of high-end battery aluminum foil. The product organization, performance, precision, shape, cleanliness, surface wettability and other technical indicators and safety and reliability are at the leading level in the industry. Through continuous technological progress and market development, HEC will gradually build a production base of low-carbon high-end battery aluminum foil with the largest scale and the highest technical level in China.
When introducing the project, Chairman Zhang Yushuai emphasized that 2021 is the first year of development and reform of HEC, the company has successfully withstood various tests and challenges, and the three major sectors of electronic new materials, biomedicine and general health have achieved fruitful results. As a result, the group's sales revenue exceeded 37 billion yuan. In 2022, on the basis of doing a good job in various routine production and operation work, HEC will resolutely build the Yidu macrolide industry into the third listed company of HEC so that the company can develop with high quality and sustainable development.
