According to the relevant requirements in the "Measures for Disclosure of Environmental Information (Trial)", our company voluntarily discloses the following information.
1. Environmental protection policy
Our company's environmental policy is: comprehensive planning and rational layout; comprehensive utilization, turning harm into profit; pollution prevention and control, continuous improvement; energy saving and emission reduction, and full participation.
2. Environmental management
1. The company has established an environmental protection management system, formulated the "Environmental Protection Management System", "Environmental Protection Technical Standards", "Environmental Protection Facilities Operation and Ledger Management System", and various operation and maintenance procedures. The "Emergency Response Plan for Environmental Emergencies" has been submitted to the Yichang Environmental Protection Bureau for the record after being reviewed by experts.
2. According to the requirements of the environmental protection department of the government and the needs of the company's environmental monitoring, the Ministry of Environmental Protection has carried out self-monitoring of the company's wastewater, waste gas and noise, and published relevant data on the website of the Hubei Provincial Environmental Protection Department to realize the disclosure of environmental monitoring data.

4. Environmental protection facilities and treatment of major pollutants
Since its establishment, the company has attached great importance to environmental protection work and established an environmental protection and energy management system. By December 2015, the company has invested a total of 2.68 billion yuan, and the investment in fixed assets in environmental protection has exceeded 350 million yuan, accounting for about 13.1% of the total investment. The annual operating cost of environmental protection facilities is about 80 million yuan. Environmental protection facilities and investment are mainly divided into the following aspects:
1. Exhaust gas
The company's units are equipped with 2 circulating fluidized bed boilers with national independent property rights,which together with the flue gas desulfurization and dust removal projects constitute a "three simultaneous" project. Using the process of calcium injection and bag dust removal in the circulating fluidized bed furnace, the desulfurization efficiency can reach more than 98%, and the dust removal efficiency is more than 99.8%. The company's SNCR flue gas denitrification project was approved by Yichang Environmental Protection Bureau in April 2013 (Yishi Environmental Examination [2013] No. 159). The project was completed and put into operation in July 2013 and passed the 168-hour trial operation. On September 28, it passed the acceptance of Hubei Provincial Environmental Protection Department and Yichang Environmental Protection Bureau. The emission concentration of the treated flue gas satisfies the Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Thermal Power Plants (GB13223-2011).
2. Wastewater
The company's existing sewage treatment facilities have a treatment capacity of 2000t/d; the types that can be treated include acid-base wastewater, domestic wastewater, oil-containing wastewater, and coal-containing wastewater. All kinds of sewage will be used for plant greening and coal yard spraying after being neutralized, sedimented and filtered to reach the standard. The circulating cooling water of the cooling tower shall be discharged to Baishui River after passing the inspection and meeting the first-class standard of "Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard" (GB8978-1996).
3. Solid and hazardous waste
The coal-fired ash and slag are sold to surrounding cement plants for use as a mixed material. Hazardous waste (waste engine oil) shall be disposed of by qualified units.
4. Noise control
The noise generated by the operation of production equipment and air compressors has been further controlled, and the noise monitoring at the boundary of each factory area has reached the standard. Sound insulation and noise reduction measures have been taken in the production workshop, and employees wear earplugs for protection when moving in high-noise areas.
5. Standardized construction of sewage outlets
The company's waste gas discharge outlets are standardized and constructed in accordance with standards, and environmental protection signs are set up. A total of 2 sets of STEP-CEMS flue gas analysis and data acquisition and transmission systems are installed. The monitoring factors include sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, dust and temperature, pressure, and flow rate. The facility passed the inspection and acceptance of the Hubei Provincial Environmental Supervision Team in July 2010 (Ehuan Supervision Letter [2012] No. 36). The 2 sets of automatic monitoring devices are all networked with the Hubei Provincial Environmental Protection Department to realize real-time monitoring of data.
