Ma Zejiang, the mayor of Yichang City, Hubei Province, visited HEC Group

On the morning of September 8, 2021, Ma Zejiang, Mayor of Yichang City, Hubei Province, and his party inspected HEC Group. Zhang Yushuai, Chairman of HEC Group, Tang Xinfa, Director of HEC Group and Dean of the Research Institute, and Zhu Yingwei, Director of HEC Group and General Manager of Yidu Base, accompanied the inspection.

HEC Group invested in the construction of Yidu Base in Yidu, Hubei in 2001. In the past 20 years, with the strong support of the Yichang Municipal Government and various departments, the Yidu Base has developed rapidly. At present, the cumulative investment in Yidu exceeds 22 billion yuan, providing employment for more than 9,200 people, forming a world-class advantageous industry of macrolide, oseltamivir, and cordyceps sinensis, and Yidu Base is striving to build a leading domestic insulin industry chain. In 2020, the Yidu base has achieved sales of about 20 billion yuan and tax revenue of about 1 billion yuan.

During the inspection, Tang Xinfa, Director of HEC Group and Dean of the Research Institute, introduced the relevant situation of HEC Research Institute.

Mayor Ma Zejiang said that HEC and Yichang City have been working hand in hand for 20 years. We have long been a family, and we have witnessed the rapid development of both sides. HEC has made remarkable achievements in the development of Yichang and made important contributions to Yichang's economic development. It is a good example and leader of private enterprises in Yichang. In the future, the Yichang Municipal Government and various departments will continue to support the development of HEC, and hope that HEC can continue to contribute to the social and economic development of Yichang.
